Job Scope
- Provide L2 tech support and diagnose problems through onsite or remotely troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and support (after-sales) networking & network security equipment (major brands)
- Provide technical support and network consultancy service from time to time.
- Taking ownership of customers’ technical issues reported & tracking them through resolutions timely and escalate to appropriate channels when applicable.
- Install, support, and maintain hardware and software network infrastructure according to best practices including routers, switches, wireless access controller/ point, firewalls etc.
- Evaluates existing network equipment and/ or users’ needs to analyse, design, recommend and implement system changes.
- Adapt and support to enhancement and change to network configurations, whenever deemed necessary.
- Assist enterprise solution/ sales team in joint calls with working business partners & technology key vendors in products demo, PoC sessions, sit-down discussion, site survey, attend site briefing etc. for projects related meetings.
Requirement
- Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology IT/ Telecommunication / Computer Engineering or relevant IT certifications
- 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience in implementation / administering and troubleshooting network and IT infrastructure equipment
- Well-versed in firewall e.g., Fortinet, SonicWALL will be an advantage
- Knowledge in WAN network: MPLS VPN and IPsec VPNs, SSL will be an advantage
