Job Description
- Act as the primary point of contact, partnering the purchasing manager to provide value-add service to OTCQ.
- Provide regular reports on supplier and department performance against agreed KPIs to monitor progress and enable effective decision-making.
- Provide advice to support the resolution of issues and any post-delivery disputes.
- Working with the Purchasing Manager to deliver the department strategy for sourcing and contract management and ensure contract visibility to stakeholders
- Support the Purchasing Manager to execute appropriate guidance to all internal stakeholders per company guidelines and best practice.
- Conduct appropriate supplier due diligence to identify supply chain risk and provide support and guidance to stakeholders on appropriate supplier evaluation and risk mitigation methods.
Requirements
- Purchasing and technical service in ship management company
- Knowledge of ship management processes and ERP system
- Communication and negotiation skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Vendor management and purchase methodology
